Following his Oscar-winning film "Drive my car", Ryūsuke Hamaguchi's "Evil does not exist" is a poetic parable about the complex relationship between man and nature. This subtly and precisely told film proves once again that Hamaguchi is one of the most exciting voices in independent cinema. The film was made in close collaboration with the composer Eiko Ishibashi (Japan).
