How do we bring something special to a close? What do we celebrate at the end of a festival? Memories, relief, anticipation, a warm reunion, experiences, new acquaintances, reflection, or missed opportunities?
The German-British performance art group Tedious Work seeks to wrap the festival’s closing in a warm blanket of togetherness by using the simple children’s game “Stop Dance” as a starting point to explore our individual experiences through collective movement, silence, and the establishment and breaking of rules.

Be brave and play a round or two with us to see how much silence we can experience together.
